Kind-eyed Seneca indulges me with a look while her band mates browse back (way back!) at the end of last year and way back deep in Spring Creek Basin.

Ha – I know, right?! 🙂 She’s a very gentle girl (most of the time).

I’ve loved watching her grow up. She was just a foal when I started reading the blog. The photo that stands out is of her in her dark coat walking in the snow (knee deep) with her family.

What a memory! 🙂 I pretty much can’t remember knee-deep snow. She’s still with mama Chipeta, and her daughter is still with her!

I went back and looked at the photo. The angle makes it look deep. The snow was definitely over 3 inches. 😀

Ha – the last couple of winters, even 3 inches seems like a lot at one time! 😉
